The question of whether or not Prince Charles is suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease is one that has
been troubling his close family and friends for some time now.
According to his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince Charles has showed some worrying signs of the disease, which has no respect for social class and can strike anyone at any time. She is reported to have told news reporters that he has periods of confusion, where he seems to be unaware of who she is, occasionally calling her Diana, instead of Camilla.
As his first wife, Diana, Princess of Wales died in 1997 in a car crash in Paris, this is worrying; even more so, because they were actually divorced at the time.
Alzheimer’s Disease is horrible. The blood vessels in the brain become distorted and as a result the sufferer can lose their short term memory, as well as a sense of who they are. It is always fatal. Read more about Alzheimer’s Disease and Prince Charles.
Camilla Parker Bowles reportedly describes her husband symptoms as “devastating” which just about sums Alzheimer’s Disease up.
A palace insider confirmed that Prince Charles has displayed uncharacteristic behaviour, and that the female Palace staff feel especially uncomfortable around him.
Luckily, the Wedding day of his son, Prince William, was one of his better days and he is seen here dressed up for the occasion.
